How To Place An Order

Browse our online catalogue. Select a fancy dress costume or accessory by double clicking the picture or clicking the view button. Choose the size you require and fill in the amount required in the quantity box. Click the ‘add to basket’ box. At this point you can continue shopping or go to the checkout. Once at the checkout you will be required to register as a new customer or sign using your existing login details. You will then be taken to the delivery and shipping page where you can choose your options and make any additional comments about your order. Click the continue button to be taken to the payment information page. On this page choose your payment method, make any additional comments about your order and enter any promotional codes if applicable. Once you’ve accepted the terms and conditions and clicked the tick box, press continue to be taken to the payment confirmation page. This page will now confirm to you all your order details with the total amount payable in GBP (£ sterling). Once you have read through this click the ‘confirm order’ button to go to secure payment site or click the ‘edit’ button on any of the sections where changes may be required. Once your payment has been processed and accepted, you will be redirected back to fancydressspot.co.uk to complete your order. You will shortly receive a confirmation email detailing your completed order.

Making a contract with us

When you place and pay for an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.  We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order & payment. Now a contract has been made between us. 

All items on fancydressspot.co.uk have live stock quantities. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available or that there has been a discrepancy in stock figures, we will inform you as soon as practicable and if necessary refund you in full for any items unavailable.

In the interest of hygiene, items of lingerie, hosiery, fancy dress and wigs are ‘goods that cannot, by their nature, be returned’ if worn, however If you receive a defective item then your statutory rights are un-affected. Contact us in writing immediately once you find the product has a problem for subsequent instructions. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know immediately.

Cancellation Rights

You have cancellation rights up to 7 working days from receipt of order. However all goods must be returned in perfect saleable condition, unworn and in their original undamaged or un-marked packaging. If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage in transit.You do not have to give any reason for cancellation.  However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
